A couple of weeks can be considered a short vacation because, well, it is! Though, it’s time enough for kids to lose the habit of going to bed early and waking up early. So, to help them ease into the process again, just take 2 or 3 days before going back to school, to implement their school sleeping habits again. This way, the first day of school won’t be so tough!
They’ll be super excited and almost hyper to see their friends again, so the idea of having to implement the school sleeping schedule again shouldn’t be so tough if you remind them that they’ll soon see their little buddies again. Plus, they’ll get to meet new friends! Oh, the smiles on their faces… ❤️
The beginning of the year is also a good excuse to take your children to their pediatrician for an annual and physical check-up. They’re growing and becoming more mature physically and emotionally, so it’s important for their doctor to control their developmental milestones so they can be able to address any possible concerns.
Sometimes kids don’t like going to the doctor, but you can also remind them that they must make sure to be very healthy for all the new things they’re about to learn, all the sports they’ll play and the extracurricular activities. They have to be very strong to be able to strive and shine! Because, well, even Wonder Woman and Superman go to the doctor! (You can tell them that 😉).
