We’ve been thinking about love. ❤️💗 It’s life’s motor, how could we not! February is considered the month of love because of St. Valentine’s Day on February 14th; makes sense. There’s a lot of people celebrating love and so we started to think about what loving and being loved means. This isn’t just about lovers expressing their feelings for one another with greetings and gifts. Love is broader than that, it’s universal, and doesn’t discriminate. 🌈🥰

We came to a very meaningful conclusion: LOVE COMES IN ALL SHAPES. Which is how -even those without a partner- can love and feel loved!

While the origins of St. Valentine’s could be as old as the Roman Lupercalia festival that celebrated the coming of spring and included fertility rites and the pairing of women 👩🏻 and men 👨🏽 by lottery, it didn’t become a romantic celebration until the 14th century.

Regardless, at Kind Society & CO we have chosen to celebrate love in all its forms. As love is also caring for the children 👧🏽🧒🏼👦🏻👧🏼 that are our reason for waking up every morning 🌞 and smiling ☺️. Love is caring for their education and making sure they are as comfy as possible to be able to thrive while learning -which should be children’s greatest responsibility!
